WILL THE STARKIDS SOLVE THE MYSTERY OF THE MISSING STARS?
When Dirk's mom comes home from a garage sale with an old bucket, Dirk finds an American flag on the bottom. Things get wacky when he discovers the flag is magic. 
He finds himself in Philadelphia, home of the Liberty Bell, talking to a kooky bald eagle named Lucy. She tells him that he's smack in the middle of one of the greatest mysteries of all time: the stars have vanished from all american flags, and one can figure out why. 
Lucy doesn't think kids can crack the case. Good thing Dirk is up for the challenge! He asks Zane, Angie, and Piper to join his team and flagtag to different states to seach for clues. 
Well, first, he has to convince them that the old, raggedy flag is magic.
