STARKIDS BOOK SERIES

Come laugh and learn with the StarKids as they flagstag across America on a mission to solve the mystery of the missing stars. StarKids in America is an entertaining series of illustrated books and workbooks that emphasizes civics and America values--democracy, liberty, justice, equality, and diversity. Young readers learn about the Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution, and Bill of Rights through humor, adventure, and magic. 

It's a race against time to solve a great mystery; the stars have vanished from every American flag and the StarKids aim to crack the case. Searching for clues, they journey to different states, encounter fascinating people, and make bizarre discoveries. On these hilarious adventures, they develop civic literacy, learn how history has influenced American values, and develop a deep sense of pride in their country. 

The series aligns to the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts (4th and 5th grade) and integrates other content areas, such as geography, social studies, and American history.
